Give the members of Rock River Thresheree an excuse to party and they will. What better excuse is there to hang out with friends and act (and look) goofy than Halloween? Every year our Halloween Party Committee does an excellent job of decorating our pavilion with all the standard Halloween paraphenelia (black cats, bats, witches, skeletons, etc.) and stuff you usually don't see at the average All Hallow's Eve event (such as the robotic zombie torso crawling around the pavilion floor). Treats and goodies are served then, afterwards, prizes are given for winners of the Bingo games while those more prone to wiggling dance the evening away to the DJ's music. Finally, just when we're almost partied out, we all hop on our Rock River Cannonball train for a late-night ride through the forest. Costumes are encourage but those who don't dress up are not turned away. Definitely a favorite event of the members and a great way to end our month-long Haunted Train Ride event. Dannielle Gratz is the Chair of this committee; her phone number can be found on our Committee Chairs page. |
