In 1979, Rock County donated a Caterpillar to our club. Mel
Cassels took his steam engine to Old World Wisconsin for two
weeks to help repay them for the use of their shuttle wagons
at our 1978 show. We discovered (and remedied) that the Cannonball's
train tracks had been assembled using the wrong kind of bolts.
And we discussed what kinds of exhibits could be displayed at
our Annual Reunion (a four-legged duck??). The new pavillion
project was begun. Norma Cassels was our Reunion Queen.
Our souvenir album contained photographs from our 22nd Annual
Reunion in 1978.
