Rock River Thresheree - 29th Annual Reunion (1985)




In 1985, we worked on our sawmill building and moved the Harry Schell sawmill from Blue River, WI, to our Threshermen's Park. We purchased a McCormick grain drill from Wendell Bennett. During the show, Sunday was declared Moore & Evelyn Maltpress Day in recognition of their 25 years of service to the park despite not being members (Moore became a member in 1998). The Cox Road entrance gate was opened at the end of each day to ease exit traffic flow.

Helen Shepherd was our Reunion Queen. Our 1985 Souvenir Album was dedicated to Moore & Evelyn Maltpress.
