In 1988, Brad Smith helped us acquire our Cummer stationary
engine from Tigerton Lumber Co. in Tigerton, WI. We took bids
for a new Threshing building. We discussed building a train depot
and worked on straightening the train tracks and painting the
Cannonball.
Members pitched in to make Farm Progress Days at the Metcalf
Farm a success (Jim Tesch's steam engine was among the engines
displayed there). At the end of the year, we were talking about
a building for our stationary engines.
Oliver/Hart Parr tractors were the feature of our show. Cindy
Lux was our Reunion Queen.
