Rock River Thresheree - 39th Annual Reunion (1995)




In 1995, we hosted a bluegrass festival at Threshermen's Park, which was a lot of fun but not financially successful. Secretary Carol Studebaker began the practice of photographing members as they joined (and went around photographing many of the old members, too). She and Jackie Brown started our Quarterly newsletter. A maintenance pit was added to the train shed to ease repairs on the Cannonball. The local 4-H club started using our grounds to launch model rockets. We accepted two donations of plows -- Bruce Stennerson's 8-bottom plow and Duane Richard's 4-bottom plow. Admission fees for adults was raised to $3 (admission for those under 12 remained at $1).

Steam traction engines and steam powered equipment was our feature. Carol Studebaker was our Reunion Queen.
