In 1996, the L. S. Burr Steam Calliope was donated to us by
Gilson Manufacturing of Middleton, WI. Members upgraded the boiler
burners to electronic control at the request of the company that
built them. Paul Marx acquired the planing mill for our Blacksmith
Shop and worked tirelessly to get it ready for the show. Work
began on our Worthing diesel engine. The Rickert family began
rebuilding our club's steam traction engine (an Advance Rumely
donated to us by Henry Raemish).
Oliver/Hart Parr was our featured tractor. Ellen Horton was
our Reunion Queen. |
