In 1997, the Reunion had several issues. Somehow the club's
F-20 tractor was accidentally parked in one of the men's restrooms.
Parking and traffic became enough of a problem (which wasn't
solved by a slew of arrows on paper plates) that mid-show we
closed the Cox Road entrance and directed spectators to use the
County M entrance. And, much to our distress, the Rock River
Cannonball derailed twice. On the positive side, we started having
winter shows in the Janesville Mall; Hergert Welding donated
a power hammer to our Blacksmith Shop; and we began rebuilding
the train track.
Construction tractors and equipment were our featured tractor
while Briggs & Stratton was our featured engine. Lillian
Anderson was our Reunion Queen.
