One of the "rigs" that took part Saturday and Sunday in a "steam thresheree" near Edgerton is shown above with its "crew."
The machine, from Tomah, helped saw wood and thresh grain to reach three results: provide fun for the crowd; wood and grain for farmers; and money for the Fulton Congregational Church's building program.
With the miniature steam engine above are, left to right, Lorenzo Goodrich, Beloit; Leon Vandervort, Tomah; and John Horton, on whose farm the event was held.
