JANESVILLE -- Norma K. Cassels, age 73, of 60 Cox Rd., Edgerton, died Mon., March 30, 1991, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in the Town of Ritchfield, Adams County, Nov. 7, 1918, the daughter of Jay and Jessie Kitchen. She married Willard B. Heller July 1, 1939, in Iowa; he died April 2, 1975. She then married Melvin Cassels April 4, 1976, in Janesville. She was a former employee of F. W. Woolworth Store. She was a member of Rock River Thresheree Association and former queen, and A.A.R.P. She was a member of Orchard View Alliance Church, Janesville.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Cassels; 4 sons: Lyle (Ruth) Heller of Oregon, David (Audrey) Heller of Orlando, FL, James (Joanna) Heller of Sydney, MT, and Jeffrey (Shiela) Heller of Beloit; 3 brothers: Lysle (Ruth) Kitchen of Janesville, William "Harley" (Norma) Kitchen of Rockford and Leonard (Edith) Kitchen of Brodhead; 1 sister, Leona (Leon) Baumgartner of Brodhead; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 sister, Loreen Nelson; 3 brothers: Maurice, Vernon and Gordy Kitchen.

Funeral services will be held Fri., April 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Orchard View Alliance Church, Rev. Ronald D. Lord officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. Memorials appreciated to the Orchard View Alliance Church.
