George W. Vint, 57, of Milwaukee, formerly an Edgerton resident, died April 23, 1981, at VA Hospital, Wood, Wisconsin, after an illness.

Born Aug. 19, 1923, in Tripoli, Wis., he married Carol Lutzewitz in 1952 in Milwaukee. He spent his early years in Edgerton with the Ernest Peach family and served in the U.S. Army Air Force, World War II, from 1942 to 1945. For the past 30 years, he lived in Milwaukee.

Surviving are his wife Carol; daughter Shirley; son-in-law William Anderson; two grandsons, Jason and Jeremy Anderson, all of Edgerton; one sister Mary, brother-in-law Harold Ball of Janesville; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Private services were held with interment in Wood National Cemetery, Wood, Wisconsin.
