JANESVILLE -- Helen Marie Taylor, age 70, of 1607 Morningside Dr., died Thurs., June 13, 1991, at home. She was born May 17, 1921, in Buda, IL, the daughter of Henri and Maria DePauw. She married Elmer L. Taylor on Nov. 21, 1942, in Camp Grant, IL. A Janesville resident since 1974, she was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Rock River Thresheree Assn. Mrs. Taylor was very active in the ECHO food pantry and rural "Meals on Wheels" and helped to organize C.U.P. food pantry in Orfordville, WI.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Taylor of Janesville; 5 children: Ronald (Irene) Taylor of Houston, TX, Kay Marie Taylor of Gurnee, IL, James (Barbara) Taylor of Zion, IL, Sally Brewington of Grayslake, IL, and Patricia (William) Thomas of Janesville; 6 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and 1 brother, Raymond DePauw of Moline, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., June 15, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Rev. Glenn Berg Moberg officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Friends may call on Sat. from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorials are preferred in lieu of other expressions of sympathy. Schneider Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
