(1959-2004) Member #164 Rock River Thresheree Class of 1982 EDGERTON -- John S. Stolen, 45, of 445 Aarback Rd., Edgerton, WI, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004. He was born on May 2, 1959, in Madison, WI, the son of Sidney and Vera (Liddicoat) Stolen. He married Leanne Danielson at Central Lutheran Church on Oct. 11, 1980. John lived his whole life in the Edgerton area. He graduated from Edgerton High School in 1978. He farmed with his father, Sid, on was employed by Albion Township since 2000. John was a member of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church. He was a member of Edgerton FFA Alumni and served on the Albion Town Board from 1989 to 2000. His wife Leanne, of Edgerton, WI, survives John; as well as 2 sons, Matthew, a student at UW-Oshkosh, and Benjamin, at home; 2 daughters, Lindsay, a student at Luther College, and Emma at home; his father, Sidney Stolen of Edgerton; 2 sisters, Janice (William) Hillman of Winneconne, WI, and Peggy (Brian) Luther of Edgerton; his father-in-law, Brian Danielson of Edgerton; nieces: Marissa (Erik) Hanson, Molly Reilly and Abby Stolen; nephews: Brent Reilly, Connor Reilly, Sam Reilly, Erik Danielson, Michael Luther, Kyle Luther and Riley Stollen; and a great-nephew, Drew Hanson. His daughter, Hannah, and his mother, Vera, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004, at East Koshkonong Lutheran Church, with Pastor A. S. Christensen officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. The Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, is assisting the family. A memorial is being established in his name. As a lifetime farmer, John loved... land, outdoors, his chickens and his family.
