Raymond James Richardson (1926-2003) Member #180 Rock River Thresheree Class of 1983 Raymond James Richardson, 77, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at Mercy Health Center, Janesville. He was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Arkansas, WI, the son of Charles and Beryl (Close) Richardson. He lived in Fort Atkinson in his early years. He purchased a farm on Highway 26, Milton, in 1963 and lived there the rest of his life. He married Margaret Kraus on Nov. 5, 1949. He was a member of the state and county Golden Guernsey Dairy and the Rock River Thresheree. He owned the Owl's Club for 11 years. He is survived by his wife, "Peg" of Milton; a brother, Keith (Nickey) Richardson of Kenosha; three sisters: Marion Adank of Eau Claire, Opal Crawley of East Troy and Jennie Case of Fountain City. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Albrecht Funeral Home, Hwy. 26, Milton. Burial will be in Koshkonong Union Cemetry, Fort Atkinson. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Albrecht's Funeral Home and Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of services.
