Albert E. Long, Jr., 77, of 196 Martin St., Sharon, WI, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. He was born April 1, 1930, in Darien, WI, the son of Albert and Esmerelda (Chesebro) Long. He married Mary Yelton on June 17, 1958, in Harvard, IL; she preceded him in death on March 7, 1998. Albert farmed on the family farm in Sharon and also practiced auctioneering in the area. He was a member of the Thresheree in Edgerton.

He is survived by his son, James (Beverly) of Sharon; and his 4 stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; a sister, Dora; and a brother, Archie.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the North Shore Cemetery. Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan, is assisting the family.
