Warren V. Prisk, age 85, of Monticello, died Monday, October 14 [1996], at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Warren was born July 18, 1911, in Monticello, the son of the late Ora and Ella (Davis) Prisk. He married Anna M. Bernet on July 18, 1942, at the Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello.

Boone attended Monticello High School. He was a machine operator for the Milwaukee Railroad for 12 years and from 1964 to 1986 he owned and operated Monticello Motor and Machine. Warren was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Rock River Thresheree of Edgerton.

Survivors include his wife Anna; a brother, Raymond Prisk, Fort Atkinson; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Cecile Rabe, and a brother, Willard Prisk.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, at 11 a.m. at Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello, with the Rev. Lawrence H. Balleine officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Monticello.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Voegeli-Newcomer Funeral Home, Monticello.

A memorial fund has been established in Warren's name.
