Arthur Witt Funeral Held on Monday

Funeral services for Arthur Edward Witt, 53, were held Monday in St. John's Lutheran church, with the Rev. A. M. W. Wahl officiating. Burial was made in Fassett cemetery.

Mr. Witt was born July 13, 1899, in Maple Creek and came to this vicinity as a young man. His marriage to Martha Christianson took place Sept. 26, 1920.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Arthur Jr., Fulton, and Pfc. Richard, Denver, Col.; his mother, Mrs. Herman Witt, Sr.; two brothers, Herman, Fulton, and John, Edgerton; a sister, Mrs. Wm. Algrim, Edgerton; and three grandchildren. His father preceded him [in] death only a few weeks ago.

[Arthur was not a member of the Rock River Thresheree Association.]
