Each year, on cool October weekends, we decorate our Threshermen's park and then fire up our Rock River Cannonball train to give Haunted Train Rides to visitors. Fall refreshments such as hot apple cider, hot cocoa, hot dogs, baked goods and more are available at our depot. We will also have games and activities for the kids and pumpkin decorating while supplies last. This is an outdoor event (rain or shine) so dress appropriately. The Cannonball is a coal-burning train so be prepared to get a little sooty (don't wear light-colored clothing). Each ride lasts approximately 15-20 minutes through our haunted forest. Please use the Cox Road entrance. Dates for the 2010 Haunted Train Rides in October are:
More information will be made available as soon as definite plans are made. Until then, feel free to contact Julie Cronk, head of our Haunted Train Ride Committee, with any questions. Her phone number can be found on our Committee Chairs Page. |
