THE PILE-DRIVER - PREPARING TO SET A NEW LOG - Most years, the pile-driver's own engine supplies its power. In 2007, the engine developed several leaky tubes in the boiler, so a Minneapolis steam traction engine stepped up to the plate. The pile-driver and its engine will be back in operation for the 2008 Rock River Thresheree. Photos below ©2007 Terry Jones.
