The 54th Annual Rock River Thresheree Reunion will be held
over Labor Day weekend, September 3rd - September 6th, 2010,
at the Rock River Thresheree grounds in rural Edgerton, Wisconsin.
It opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. each day.
Our 2009 feature will be Oliver tractors (which includes
Hart-Parr).
Upon arrival at Threshermen's Park, you will find that
parking is free and abundant, as are all our shuttles (seat-filled
wagons pulled behind classic tractors). Ride a shuttle to the
main entrance gate where admission is only $6 for adults and
$1 for children aged 6-12 years old. Children aged 5 and under
are free. On Friday, senior citizens are admitted for $5. A non-perishable
food donation to will entitle one to $1 off an adult admission.
From the gate, ride another shuttle to any location of
your choice in the park or get off and enjoy the walk. Our grounds
are handicap accessible and we will gladly provide parking lot
and in-park transportation for those with special needs at no
charge.
Since the Thresheree is an outdoor, rural event, we highly
recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. (Personally,
I recommend avoiding white clothing, too, especially if you plan
to ride the Cannonball!)
Please note that our daily Parade of Power is held at 2:00
p.m. Other daily events include:
- Steam Train Rides -- Steam Pile Driver -- Steam
Traction Engines
Tractors & Implements -- Gas, Steam & Model Engines
Sawmill, Gristmill, Sorghum Mill & Shingle Mill
