Reunion

The 52nd Annual Rock River Thresheree Reunion saw two world records set on Saturday, August 30th. At 11 a.m., we set the record for the world's largest steam-powered threshing ring -- 29 separators operating simultaneously. At 1 p.m., we set the record for the world's largest gas-powered threshing ring -- again, 29 separators operating simultaneously.

(Just starting, about 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, August 30th, 2008)

Over 150 individuals volunteered equipment, supplies, time and labor over the past year to prepare for these events and to accomplish our goal of setting two world records. As soon as we get the list of folks into a comprehensible format, I will be putting it online so everyone may be properly recognized for their amazing work. Thanks to everyone!

The 53rd Annual Rock River Thresheree Reunion will be held over Labor Day weekend, September 4th - September 7th, 2009, at the Rock River Thresheree grounds in rural Edgerton, Wisconsin. It opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. each day.

Our 2008 feature will be Orphans & Oddballs tractors and engines with a special emphasis on high crop and orchard tractors.

Upon arrival at Threshermen's Park, you will find that parking is free and abundant, as are all our shuttles (seat-filled wagons pulled behind classic tractors). Ride a shuttle to the main entrance gate where admission is only $6 for adults and $1 for children aged 6-12 years old. Children aged 5 and under are free. On Friday, senior citizens are admitted for $5.

From the gate, ride another shuttle to any location of your choice in the park or get off and enjoy the walk. Our grounds are handicap accessible and we will gladly provide in-park transportation for those with special needs.

Since the Thresheree is an outdoor, rural event, we highly recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. (Personally, I recommend avoiding white clothing, too, especially if you plan to ride the Cannonball!)
